Opening Doors to the Future, Edition 2008

2nd edition: October 1st, 2008 - June 15th, 2008

 Within the period October 1st, 2007 - May 15th, 2008, 27,000 pupils with ages between 7 and 14 have visited the Vel Pitar factories, within the educational project "Opened doors for future".

 Through this campaign the pupils are conscientious of the effort and devotion are involved within the bread manufacturing process and helps them understand better the world they are living into. The children, the future adults, must know the elements necessary to the taking of a correct decision when they are buying the panification products.

 The drawn poster contest from the end of the activities has been meant to stimulate the children's imagination, so that the learning process should be more efficient. They have been so enthusiast regarding the idea, which they wanted to start drawing during the visit. The children are opened to discussions and they have asked very well thought and unusual questions. For a example a eight-year-old little girl from Targu Jiu wanted to know how much calcium there is in bread.
